Going Green and Re-cycling or donating the Text Books!

We buy so many textbooks every year. And we are planning to go PBL and E-Books but meanwhile we still have a lot many text books. What most of the people do after the exams get over is to throw the text books away! I've even seen students shredding off the textbooks to pieces! Textbooks are not at all respected after the exams get over.

Innumerable papers are wasted every year. That includes the art work, the study materials like text books and written papers. (Best of the art pieces can be kept but the works of the great artists like me should be given for recycling instead of giving everything back home! Because no one actually cares about all that stuff! We use so good papers for art, while many students across the country use recycled and waste papers for their main studies!) So can we have a rule in the school wherein all the textbooks as well as the written record/art work are collected back at the end of the year? The best option is to give them to someone who cannot really afford them or at least send it for re-cycling. Similar process should be done, with all the written record of all students. (Because ultimately those papers are either flown off as planes or shred to pieces!)

With all the textbooks and written records, each year we can make really be productive and make the best out of the waste and can go green! Firm announcements should be made regarding returning the textbooks and the written matter. (if and only if the some tangible reason is mentioned he/she may be exempted)

The Bhagwat Geeta

Subject: Why we read the Bhagavat Geeta, even if we can't understand it?

An old farmer lived on a farm in the mountains with his young grandson. Each morning, Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading his Bhagavat Geeta.

His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could.

One day the grandson asked, "Grandpa! I try to read the Bhagawat Geeta just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand, I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Bhagawat Geeta do?"

The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied, "Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a basket of water."

The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got back to the house.

The grandfather laughed and said, "You'll have to move a little faster next time," and sent him back to the river with the basket to try again.

This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before here turned home. Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was impossible to carry water in a basket, and he went to get a bucket instead.

The old man said, "I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You're just not trying hard enough," and he went out the door to watch the boy try again.

At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water would leak out before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into river and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather the basket was again empty.

Out of breath, he said, "SEE.... it is useless!"

"So you think it is useless?" The old man said, "Look at the basket."

The boy looked at the basket and for the first time realized that the basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty old coal basket and was now clean, inside and out.

"Son, that's what happens when you read the Bhagavat Geeta. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, you will be changed, inside and out. That is the work of GOD in our lives."

This is beautiful story – it is inspiring.

Please forward.

Make War, Not Love - Must Read, Infer and Implement in the real life

Really inspiring poem, must read. Plz share it ppl Moral: Wrong things can never be right. If not by love or any of the humanly ways, they understand, than by force it should be ended. Wrong things need to be crushed anyhow. We can take an example from history, the French Revolution. It was full of bloodshed but due to that, their lifestyle have changed!!!

Make War, Not Love

Except for those who make the guns And profit from each bomb and plane,

No one wants war; we all want peace. "Bring them home!" people complain.

There are better ways to solve all this; We'll get together and negotiate;
With diplomacy, we'll calm them down; With loving hearts we'll end the hate.

But loving hearts don't understand
That demented tyrants want it all.

No talk, no love will change their minds. Only war will cause their fall.

Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, too, Total power was their goal.

Saddam Hussein, Amin, and more, Ignored the talk, and gained control.

Despicable, depraved and more, With viciousness, they kill their own.

So we send our soldiers off to hell To keep freedom as our cornerstone.

Was 9/11 not enough To show us just how far they'll go?

Will we acquiesce to terrorists, These devils, the lowest of the low?

Reluctantly, we have to fight;

So while pundits chatter and discuss, We'll use our might to take them out, To keep the thugs from killing us.

By Joanna Fuchs

Be bold, Rise up and Break the Silence! Shake the world with Innovation!

Let me start off with a short story:

A man died and went to the house of god, furious and bubbling red with anger! He was so enraged that he directly started fighting with GOD. He said that the Earth is filled up sinners and their dirty sins. It is wrenched in blood due to the greedy people in it. Humanity has vanished from the face of the earth. Things have worsened! Nothing is in order. In spite of so much happening out there you are least concerned!!! So many things happen day after day and they keep on happening without a check! Are so heartless? Aren't you the one who takes of the world? If you are actually present than why the hell didn't you send a messiah?

God was listening to all these with utmost patience. Without even a slightest sign of anger god tittered and said, "My dear son, it was you whom I sent for that purpose!!!"

The short but effective words of GOD stoke through the heart of that man. He was dumbfounded and stood still as if he was a stone!!!

Each and everyone's life is filled with various problems. No body is left out. Problems are thrust upon us when we are capable of handling and correcting them and thus it becomes our duty to tackle the problems which affect us and others in our day to day lives. There are 2 ways to live the life, 1) to get adjusted to whatever is happening and other is to be bold and change it. It is upon us to choose the right way! The first way can be very easy to pick up but hard to follow but the second is hard to pick up and easy to follow! Following is the greatest thing!

The Greatest Political, Religious, Social and Economical Threat

Imagine a country with a single political party!!! Today's scenario is much similar to racism and the discrimination done on the basis of religion or something like the caste system, where people fight for no staunch reason! Where people fight their own brothers and sisters! Where the integrity is broken down and the harmony turns into a race among the people working for the same cause!!! It does not matter against whom I fight. What come may I want 'SUPREMACY'!!! Let's Pray for a government with a singel political authority! (Prayer is the commitment to work and perform)

The innovative touch from our lives has vanished!!! Imagination is more important than knowledge! If we can just understand, interpret, think, imagine, use our discretion and act accordingly, 95% of the problems would be eradicated! The race for supremacy has stained our society so much that we have gone blind! In each and every single thing we wanna be the best and the supreme but we would not consider the other parameters for living a life! Sometimes letting things go for universal well being is a great honor!

Again envy is the ulcer of our soul! Looking from a wider perspective would cure all the so-called, illusive, petty but fatal problems!

Never be narrow-minded and self-centered in any sphere of life!

India in the 'So-Called' 21st century!!!

WE ARE THE CHANGE MAKERS! WE HAVE THE ULTIMATE POWER TO CHANGE THE WORLD! NO ONE BUT WE HAVE TO DO IT!

Empty mind is devils home!!! Today there so many people in our society who are idle, they actually waste the precious time gifted to us!!! We all want to enjoy but when it comes to work, we draw back ourselves!!! What an atitude it is! Many people after they get retired leave everything. Some people just be getting up in the morning, eating and then sleeping through out the day! The only two things they do is eat and sleep! Doing nothing productive leads to nothing getting done productive!

On the contrary there are lakhs of people who keep themselves immensly busy!!! But the work that they do goes in vain! People worship God and spend 20 hours in the name of god doing all sorts of useless things! Superstition and religions has  pentreted so deep into minds and sould that we have forgotten what we ought to do!

Swami vivekanad said that, "agle pachas salo tak apne sare devi devtao ko utha kar taap par rakhdu! Hamara rashtra hi hamara dev he! Pooja kare hum apni matra bhoomi ki, seva kare hum apne deshvasiyo ki! But we all tend to have so less memory power though we admired him!

Today the so called 'EDUCATED, CULTURED AND WELL MANNERED CITIZEN'  of India will rise up and say, "The whole country is filled with garbage. We are not progressing. The government is corrupt from the root level! I'm ashamed to be born in a such a country where people beg for their daily requirments!'

What do you expect from a country whose own people are half asleep, coward to face the challenges, not ready to work till DEATH? The country where crores of ruppes are spent for building temples, 20 hours a day for its maintanance can do nothing crib about things! Education is not given the importance that it should get, more focus has gone over to religion! But do remember that our own religion says, "Chariti Charato Bhagya ha'! It means that the one is follows his duty, works hard and is pure in his deeds, gets ahead in the life!

It is we who have to change. It is we who have to change our thought process, our attitude! Today the country needs devoted people. How the hell do you expect things to change when you're sitting in from of the idols? Even lord krishna stressed on the importance of Karma as he himself did! The idol is not going to eat the 56 bhog, it is the counrtymen who eats! But unfortuanately today the condition has toppled from every angle!!!

And we proudly say that we are the citizens of Independent India! Really ironic isn't it???

Must Read!!!

To Most of the people in our society: "The world suffers a lot. Not because of the violence of bad people. But because of the silence of Good people." -By Napoleon Bonaparte

Silence is the greatest evil, it encourages the bad to become worse. If silence prevails it indicates that you're with the evil and you're accepting it. Never accept something wrong and let it turn worst! Always put all the efforts to change it and make it the best instead of letting it become the worst!

Stroke - Please Share

Stroke Has a New Indicator. They say if you email this to ten people, you stand a chance of saving one life. Will you send this along?

Blood Clots/Stroke - They Now Have a Fourth Indicator, the Tongue STROKE: Remember the 1st Three Letters..... S. T. R..

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:

RECOGNIZING A STROKE

Thank God for the sense to remember the '3' steps, STR. Read and Learn!Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify.. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster.. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke. Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:S *Ask the individual to SMILE.T *Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently)(i..e. It is sunny out today.)R *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call emergency number immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.New Sign of a Stroke -------- Stick out Your Tongue

NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out his tongue. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke. A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to their friends; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.

I have done my part. Will you?

Our Duties Online And Offline!

Lets use the social networking sites for which they are meant! Playing games and posting idiotic pictures, or silly messages is not the end of the story, it isn't actually called using 'The Social Networking Site'! The word itself suggests, 'social'. So lets do something fruitful out here, like spreading awareness and talking something that's related to our lives!

Guys lets spend our 10 minutes of the FB time to create a worthwhile change and make the place which we are living in a better one! Post the things that seem inappropriate, discuss the probably solutions and then charge forward! We all spends hours and hours on facebook lets spend just 10 minutes on such issues on daily basis and we can turn things around!!! Always remember that unity is strength and we can do whatever we wish to!!! So lets do the need be!

Though the issues wont be affecting us directly, we are ultimately the part of the sme society and therefore its are responsibility do the remedial and not run away like we do usually!

Somewhere it does affect us! Though we may not realize it or we feel that we are out of it and why should we be bothered? its are mere selfish nature, its we the people of India who will make the progress or will fall. Its not the concern of any individual!

The Change Makers!!!

There's no age to be able to make a change, it is totally dependent on the way we think and the way we behave!!! We being students have the power that almost nobody has in this world, as education is the chief defense of a nation! There's a saying in gujarati: "kumda jaadne vadye tem vade"! We are at an age where the turning point seeps into our life and we all must be conscious about it! This moment is the best moment I can say, where a hell lot of things can be changed. The first and foremost change that is required is our attitude! And it is the responsibility and honor of every student that they contribute their part in reforming the society, as this is the time period where things can ACTUALLY BE MENDED! After a certain period of time it does happen but it is gradual and not so effective. So it is our serious urge to all the students that they contribute their part! Each one of us is aware of the wildness happening in the schools, it is upon us to curb it or at lest reduce it to the minimal level! Schools are the seeds of the nation, imagine what would happen if the seed itself is spoiled! The smallest step that we can take towards improving our society is by changing ourselves! Charity begins at home! Ours will be the honor to see the things change, when we would have worked at it. Though sometimes being bequeathed, it is the inner satisfaction that we may enjoy! WE ARE THE CHANGE MAKERS!!!

If we want to see something fruitful it is our responsibility to be the change makers! We have the infinite power to do anything in this world if and only if we wish to! We must join our hands and do the most we can!

Going Green!

People always choose the easier path and so the best and easiest thing to do of a waste paper, plastic or any such used up materials is to throw away! But the chances of throwing it away would be less if we are spoon fed! In general we wouldn't bother to go to a place where things are re-cycled but if we have the same centre in our vicinity we MAY THINK OF GOING!

So if we put up a huge bin sort of object where people can get rid of there wastes than we can save a lot many papers and other materials as each of us have heaps of trash but don't use 'em wisely! This bin can be emptied (All the materials collected need to be sent at a re-cycling centre) at regular intervals!

We all must initiate this sort of a process where ever we can. It can be our own society, schools, campuses anywhere and everywhere! It would help us go green and be an environment savior!

Just imagine the power of this! We can save millions of tons of trash and utilize it in an productive way!

The roots of our society – The temple that
imparts education

The roots of our society – The temple that
imparts education

Food is the sole requirement for a person to thrive, along with air and water. But that particular survival is something that is defined by Biology. It keeps the soul and the body together. We respire, all the organs of the body function and co-ordinate to carry out the most technical and sophisticated function. Food is a physical supplement which nourishes the body and imparts energy. Water adds on to the nutrients while air or oxygen simply contributes to the release of energy or to be more technical – ‘Cellular Respiration’. When an organism carries out all of these fundamental functions plus reproduction and response to the stimuli, it is classified as a ‘living organism’ by science. But when talking from the point of view of a ‘stupid common man’ can be this be called life? Nope, absolutely no! Science and practical life are totally different, though they may seem seamlessly connected!

Life is not just surviving through the vivid conditions that one may face. Life is about dealing with feelings, doing the appropriate and just things! It is about being truthful, just, brave, fearless and the most important of all to “FLOW AWAY WITH THE FLOW, BUT YET NOT!” The last line has to be emphasized. It is very important to go with flow and adjust to the situations around us, but at the same time we must also say that we should adjust only and only after giving it a thought!  We should not adjust to each and every thing, as we come across many wrong and bad things! We must first think rationally, examining and scrutinizing all of its angles and then think of the action to be taken.

At the end of day, after a hectic schedule when we lie down on our beds with our eyes tightly shut, a burst of scenes, memories and thoughts splash upon that ‘inward eye’! We come across a lot of things which make us proud of our country and make us feel complacent, but at the same time we also experience that there are actually a lot more hindrances that stop us from exploring our full potential! It seems to me that we ignore those things and simply move on to continue and win the ‘race of life’! We do not have the time to think over such issues, or simply we are just moving away from facing ‘em!

The times demands ‘reflection’ form us! We often say that the ministers are corrupt and the ministry is a flop show! I’ve often come to across people who hate politics like anything and it has become a craze of the 21st century people to insult it! But the fact is that that out of a hundred people only 8-10 people might be actually into it and may be giving the right opinion, others are just the blind followers! The herds of sheep! What I believe is that these ministers have not come from the sky that we are to blame them; they are simply the people amongst us! Indeed they are the people whom we chosen to lead the country! We don’t even have faith in our own choice and our minds are so veering that we do not think the same after an hour! I many a times think that the problem is at root level. The scam, corruption or any other social evil is just the extensions of the unmonitored root level problems! So it is upon us to correct the things from the bottom!

The root level is nothing but the schools and the parental care! These are the things that shape the minds of any individual and which gradually affects their overall life. This stage in the life of any child is the most crucial stage. Even if there is a slightest of deviation, it leads to complete reversal and disaster! According to the sex ratios, there are 914 girls for every 1000 boys in India. That means there are only 86 girls less for every 1000 boys, which is merely unobtrusive difference when we are talking about thousands! But just look at it from a wider angle, the population of India is 1,210,193,422! Now let’s just re-look at the difference when we talk about the over-all population. There are 54,376,506 less females in comparison to males! Isn’t this is difference so huge! Now it also means that there would be at least 5.5 crore men (around 50 million men!) who would find it difficult to find their life partners! So from the above example it is evident that even a slight deviation can become disastrous when we talk about the whole of the society!

Schools were considered to be temples where ‘EDUCATION’ was imparted and the teachers were considered to be one step higher than our 33 crore (According to the general word, there are 330 million gods and goddesses in India!) immortal GODs! ‘Education is the chief defense of a nation’! But as a matter of fact the root called Education and Schools have started to decay! If the root of the tree is not strong enough than sooner or later the tree topples off! The issue starts off at both the ends, namely the Schools and the students.

Most of the students in the schools do not come to study, they simply come to do ‘Time Pass’ as they put in which is surely the indication of improper nourishment given by the elderly class to which the children meet. Whenever we face a problem, it can never be one-sided! There is always a bit of problem caused by both the parties! The students on the other hand are no less! They are sometimes so violent and destructive that we cannot even imagine! The students harm the school’s properties, violate its norms and behave like uncivilized creatures! Abusing teachers, parents and friends has become a trend of the new generation! Talking in an obscene way is also a great concern! Today in the 21st century, in the world of ‘The Survival of the Fittest’ just to survive, we all run like mad people without thinking and realizing the true aim of life! The tuff competition and the external world have left us completely lost and deviated though we feel are on the ‘right track’! The parents, as they put in, ‘follow their duty’ and have stuck in the intricate sphere of life! They work day and night to earn a few bucks and lead a prosperous family! No doubt it is really remarkable to do all such work! The fact is that, that in the process of living a leisurely life, the parents many a times fail to give proper attention to their children! Giving proper attention and nourishment is the greatest of the achievements of the parents, as they will be the future citizens of the nation and they will become the Parents! We have a saying in Gujarati, ‘Kuvama Hoy to Haveda ma Ave ne’. It means that if the children aren’t nourished properly than they wouldn’t be able to give proper nourishment to their children and the cycle would continue endlessely! Ultimately we would stop with nothing! It is the responsibility of the parents to understand their children and guide them as necessary. It includes dealing with love and correcting every mistake! No doubt the teachers have a vital role to play, but looking at the situation today, it is moreover the parents who need to look into this matter!

Students often come down to damaging and sometimes in severe cases stealing the school properties! Making mirth and mischief during an ongoing class is something very common, or simply imperceptible under large headings! Using abusive language and gestures is again widespread! It is not limited to the students but is readily extended to teachers and parents. Many people tend to call each other by spoiling their father’s name! They come to school for ‘all other purposes except for studying’! Copying during all sorts of tests and exams is prominent! As mentioned above, sometimes girls are also dis-respected! They take pride in performing all such ‘arts’! Our school is still very supportive and extends full support to us for doing all the remedial actions, which we want to perform, but still we don’t have enough students to make the school a better place to study! (I study in S.N.K) Many other schools do not even extend support to the sincere students! Many schools just run on the basis of a ‘Profit and loss statement’ where they work for money and not for the betterment of the society! Most of the state board schools are such! One of the main reasons behind them is that either they are not having enough money, or they are greedy, or the staff is not willing! And of course the students are like devils! Some sort of enforcement and awareness must be brought in!!!

As a matter of fact there are many schools across our country, which do not fulfill their purpose. For example the Modi school (in Rajkot), has an annual fee of Rs. 40,000 while the receipt you get is just of Rs. 4000! It is a plain cheating! Another school situated at Jamnagar, the ‘Shri Satya Sai High School’ has a similar tale! Most of the students studying here take admissions in the schools just because they want to appear for the Board’s examination! They do not study there; the whole of the course is covered in the tuitions! The reasons may be inadequate resources or simply the malfunctioning of the school! Isn’t all these situations alarming??? When such rubbish is done on the name of education we cannot feel, but pity! We have to collectively take some steps on such issues! Things must not go like the way they are going right now!!!

Recently when the results of the 12th standard were declared, many students failed in ‘Computers’ just because there was a fatal error in the Question Paper and the OMR sheet! The question paper and the OMR sheet did not match! All the diligent stars of Surat got depressed after seeing such results! When the parents and the students went to the higher authorities, they said that they were helpless! Indeed if the higher authorities do not do anything, than who is to be caught responsible?  After all it is the future of those students with whom these people are meddling! When it is known to the people that it is fault of the board, why isn’t anything done? Many things like this happen day after day and we do nothing!!! We must all raise our voice against such issues!

All in all to conclude, I have no option, but be silent! Silence has the invincible power to win people! I would just like to say that it is we the people who have the ultimate power to change. It is upon us to decide whether we wanna change or not! And if each one us vows today to change himself and change whatever he can than the change will not be unseen in short periods of time! Our mind is a remarkable machine that never stops throughout the life. So today, let’s use it for some good cause!

It must not surprise us that it is we the students who can bring about 90% of the change ! Parents, teachers and other elders are simply to guide us but it is we who can bring all the change, even though it may not be directly related to us!  Let’s all join our hands, rise up and be the change makers! We can do it!

The Derogatory Lads staining our society

सिर्फ हंगामा खड़ा करना मेरा मग्सद नही, पर यह 'सूरत' बदलनी चाहिए| मेरे सिनेमें नही तो तेरे सिनेमे सही, पर कहीं भी आग जलनी चाहए|

The Derogatory Lads staining our society

A small populous port city, lying on the bank of River Tapi, is the Gujarat’s highly industrialized and urbanized city – Surat. It has been an age old glorious city of India. Since the time of British its prosperity has grown by leaps and gallops. It used to be the main center for the Dutch and French East India Company’s factories. Since then the gradual progress has made Surat almost equivalent to the Metro city – Mumbai! It can be considered one of the finest cities of whole of the India! If one sees a forest from an aero plane, it looks lush green but when one observes things a bit more keenly the botches are easily spotted!

Though the glory of Surat cannot be defined, there are many issues, which are equally found everywhere else! Here’s one such example I wanna draw your attention to!

Aaall is well!!! Other than the ‘environment’ that they live in! The previous statement has a meaning to be read between the lines! Environment does not only deal with the physical environment that the scientists talk about! It is the social environment that is referred to over here.  What is the dearest thing to a child, an infant? Ammmm, possibly his toys, his belongings and his family. But just after that age, when one enters the ‘Teen Age’ there are an array of physical, mental, emotional and psychological changes occurring. One such change that happens with the onset of puberty is the urge to have a partner. But of course there are ethics in dealing with such emotions. A proper attitude is the first and foremost requirement. It is a fragile age and should be handled with utmost care!

The boys dwelling in Surat are no less than Rowdy creatures! There was time in India when women were given utmost respect. In the history of Gujarat the ‘Baravatias’ or simply a sort of thieves respected women so much that even if a single man of their team misbehaved he was killed! And it is a recent tale, almost 200 years ago! But the situation today has totally toppled!  The problem that each and every young girl faces there is the harassment of the boys! Imagine a situation where a cockroach enters your house. Do you tame it or kill it? It is much the same situation here! The situation has worsened till the extent that the girls cannot do without using abusive language! But the girls of Surat have adjusted to and adapted to the situations which they are not supposed to! They have made up their minds not to fight! And if you’re not strong enough to fight the people around you, you’re crushed! Even if a girl is walking silently on the road, there are boys who move past them, doing all sorts of rubbish things! The scenario is such that if a girl doesn’t have a boyfriend than she is harassed, as all the boys are behind girls, whether the girls like it or not! This is not humanly!

Here go the words coined by a Surati: “I have an array of illusive or so-called boyfriends just to show the other guys that I’m powerful enough. I give different names to different boys just to thrive in the dirty environment, although I have none! I cannot do without speaking bad words on certain roads. The boys are habituated to listening to all the abusive language and they are still the same tyrants! They have no shame or no attitude to deal with girls! When we refuse them on the face, they become so emotional and persuasive and they try all the means to convince us! Some boys even retaliate with bad intentions. Once a few boys were riding on a bike and a few of us were walking on the road. They were behind us, but we were not responding to their actions. So ultimately when nothing happened they showed an abusive hand gesture to all of us! But I would also say that exceptions are universal!” Things cannot be reported to the parent as if it is done than they wouldn’t be allowed to step out of the house. On the contrary the concern of the parents is equally justified! This is just the introductory part of the real world there, which I have been able to describe. But I’m sure that worse things than these might be happening there as nobody but the resident is aware of the real evil!

If these actions are not given due attention and a check, than it is hard to imagine the condition of India in the year 2020! If the boys do all such rubbish at this age, what would they be able to do, after a certain age! We say that there are many bad guys around, but what the real problem is that these bad guys aren’t given a check at right age. Nobody is bad, it is upon us to let ‘em be bad or good!

This issue is not only prevalent in Surat or is limited to it, it is universal, though it may be less or more prominent! Surat is just taken as a matter of example, while this situation prevails in many places. It is not only Surat! Please, don't create any issues, as in why have I chosen only Surat. That's just because I came to know about Surat, and its quite rational that we can't write about anyone else, whom we don't know, isn't it? And to sum things up exceptions are universal!!! (Please pay attention on this line)

Expected Consequences: What happens when the chain reaction in the nuclear power plant goes uncontrolled! You can imagine nothing but wide spread disaster! The same concept can be applied here! If things go uncontrolled, than it may be theses people who in the longer run of life, would treat women as 'objects' in all possible manner! The word 'feeling' would have died by the time and 'professionalism' would seep in the lives of the people. The life of a couple may not be the life that we have right now! When we have bad aspirations from the very beginning of something, there is bound to be a more severe and critical result! So it is our responsibility to correct things!

I feel that the girls should unite against these bad guys but that’s not the end of the story! Something concrete should be done, by the elderly class, because it is more effective than simply the girls uniting! And what I feel is that the elderly class shouldn't shut the girls in a room, they should let them be ‘creators of their own destiny’ and explore the world! They should in fact, help their children to identify the black spots on the society and help them to fight against those black spots, with utmost bravery and boldness! The girls shouldn’t be taught to stay away from the bad guys, they should be taught to withstand and fight against those devils, till the extent that they do not think of performing any more rubbish acts! It is the parents and family members who need to understand this concept, otherwise it’s a mere failure!  These lame things must be curbed; it is really high time now! We must all unite, we must all lend our hands to save the motherland! Let’s join hands to eradicate or at least reduce this burning issue! Let India be once again called the ‘Sone Ki Chidiya’! It is we who are directly or indirectly affected and it is our duty to perform the remedial part, when we are aware about the mishaps happening around us! We have the ultimate power to change the world! We are the part of the same society in which these things happen! We often ignore small things, but we often do not realize the seriousness of that ignorance! It is the inevitable truth that the small things take the bigger forms, to which we weep, but had we taken care at the initial stages than no such issues would have been created. Then we sit and grumble about the past! But it's not true. Wrong things are always wrong and should be controlled when they are at lowest stage otherwise they take bigger forms that we all see in the Newspapers and on the Net! Ignorance is the worse habit, be it any shpere of life and greatest hindrance to our progress!  So let’s vow to do our part and change the scenario of this awful place and make it really magnificent!

A special note: We many a times become very selfish, especially at times when it comes to solving problems. We often think just for ourselves, as in how can we save ourselves and how can we be safe! We don't think about others at the critical moments, but that's not the case! We must think from a wider angle, to solve a problem, though it may create a few hardships for us! But that effort of ours doesn't go in vain as it eradicates the problem or leads to a better life at least! So we must not think that it doesn't affect us, so we are least bothered, or it will create a hell lot of problems in our life so we mustn't touch the hem of it! Just imagine that if each one of us thinks in the same manner how do we suppose that the change is possible?

The truth is that, that such issues cannot be handled by me or you alone, it is we all who have to unite and turn over, to eliminate such issues. There is never a single person who can make a change, there is always a mass, a group which works to accomplish a common goal! It is we all who are involved and it is we who have to make the required changes!!!

The So-Called religion which has stained our existence!

India is considered to be a land of 33 crore Gods and Goddesses!  We all worship the form that we believe in. But religion, now a days has turned out to be a sort of business. People are more indulged into religious affairs, when there are thousands of children who don't have food to eat or clothes to wear! People spend millions of rupees behind the construction of temple, and then for its maintenance! It’s utterly useless! What I believe in is that worshipping is an inner job and we do not need to go to distant places to worship! Moreover it is the feelings that we have and it is the work that we do, rather to just banging our heads in the temples, mosques, gurudwaras etc. Our society is not so powerful just because of our religious beliefs. They are so stubborn! The cast system which was set up in the Vedic era, still affects our mind! Discrimination based on the grounds of religion is widespread! All the riots and terrorism which break out is all due to the religion.

After the independence of India, when Pakistan seceded or to put in, when India and Pakistan were formed, there were a lot many problems arising between the Hindus and Muslims! Lacs of people were killed just because either they were Hindus or were Muslims! There were many riots happening at that time. It was also believed that Pakistan was for Muslims and India was for Hindus!  This period could be considered as the ‘Reign of Terror’ in the Indian History! The chief reason behind all that blood shed was religion. Even today so far almost 80% of the Indian and Pakistani population consider each other enemies! One reason for the enmity, which is prevalent even today is the again the Religion, the difference of Hindus and Muslims. We all often fail to look from a broader perspective and just tend to stick in the dirty web of religious disharmony! If we all consider each other Human Beings and sink all our personal grudges than we would realize the true power of the nations!  We constantly fight against each other and day by day our rivalry is becoming stronger and stronger. We are becoming more hostile and boisterous towards each other! It must not be forgotten that India and Pakistan once upon a time were a part of the same nation; it is today that Pakistan has become a separate nation. The current issue is that ‘should, Kashmir go into Pakistan or should it stay with India?’ The probable answer to this question from my point of view is that Pakistan and India shouldn’t be considered as different nations and should work collaboratively to accomplish the tasks. This unity will help both the countries to save a huge amount of money that they spend on fighting with each other and moreover the when both the countries unite their prosperity would be worth seeing! As such if we rationally look at the situation today, there seems to be no problem with India and Pakistan, all the problems that we see are all illusive and can be dissolved if we just open our eyes and try to think differently!

Actually all the religions teach a single thing – ‘Love’ but it is we who perceive it in different ways! There cannot be any religion in the world which would teach ‘Inhumane customs’. In an Indian village, during Navratri, there is a huge lamp that stays lit through the 9 days! The Ghee that is used is pure, original ghee! Now, such things are so stupid! People don’t get pure ghee to eat while they burn it off to ashes there!! We are the evils of our society! Lot many temple might simply be galloping all that finance that they get as charity! People are ready to give a thousand rupees when someone says, “Today is Janmashtmi, we are arranging for a grand festival tonight. You are a devotee of God, please lend us some money” but they would not have a penny to give to poor children who do not have books to study! Such is our mentality! We perform rituals and religious rites (Like the Havans, and Yagnas and what not!) in each and every small thing and spend thousands of rupees, or to put in give thousands to the ones which have lacs! What I feel is that it is a mere waste of money and time – the very precious things, which do not return once gone!  I must say we are the evils!

The truth that lies in our sacred texts is something very different from what we consider to be! It is said that we must ‘Perform our duties regardless of the result we may receive. We must serve the humanity as right fit.’ What I personally believe in is that we should never waste time in ‘specially’ worshipping the Lord. It is our work, which is our worship and thus we should always keep our selves busy and productive. That’s the way we can progress. Currently the amount of money and time that is spent behind worship is the money and time from which we can make hundreds of remarkable and productive changes. But unfortunately we want to waste it like anything, in spite of knowing that it has troubled us so much and now it’s the time to be ‘Practical’!

Have you ever heard that your God complained against you if in the morning you didn’t pray to him or you did not perform a Yagna or something of that sort? Than why the hell do you need to do all that? It is an illusion created by all of us and we are the people who need to break through it! I’m saying that we all must become atheists, but at least we must learn to prioritize the real world and the religion! So just to conclude we all are spending millions and billions of rupees, across the country, through centuries. Now it’s time to stop all this nonsense! I must say that if we stop all these useless ceremonies, rituals and religious tasks than we would be capable to pension off all the debt on our country!

New law to save our Environment!!!

In our day to day life, we are involved in many activities altogether and forget that there is something beyond it which is more important!

Just imagine a day without electricity! Ah impossible to even think of, but we waste our resources like anything!

We all moving towards the solar power, but that isn't going to be an overnight affair! Indeed it is going to take several decades to become prominent! Meanwhile the way we manage our energy and power sources need to be altered! The way we are wasting energy! And even if we don't waste the energy we must conserve it as the energy being produced now is the non-renewable one!

It is practically quite impossible to convince everyone to save their resources because the ones are going to waste it, they would without any sort of resentment. But from a wider perspective to if we want to make progress than we must enforce it, thrust it upon the people. At this moment we should be keeping in mind the results and effects, not the ways of performing it!

We all should be celebrating an Environment day every month! This should be dedicated to all such activities. Electricity shouldn't be provided to any household or workstations although it should be provided to hospitals and all such agencies which need to be working all the time for the welfare of the people! People would not cut down on the consumption of electricity unless they are forced to! Just imagine a 12 days without electricity per year in the whole country! And doing on without electricity without a day is not something too difficult a task! It can make so much of difference! Not just from the point of view of the environment but also from the commercial and economical point of view.

We would not spit in other countries as we would be fined and sent to jail, but we wouldn't take up the broom to clean our own country, because who would spoil their hands in cleaning their own house? A strong law regarding this should be made so we can actually enforce this and can contribute our part towards saving our environment! Nothing happens without a strong law, we don't care about anything until and unless we are punished. If we have to pay fine for it, we understand other we let things go! No one cares unless it is thrust upon them!

The most probable question would be business, but we must remember that above all comes the enlivenment! If not the whole day than atleast a few hours and the night time can be surely chosen.

Urge for a new vehicle law in India! Its time to be dynamic!!!

In foreign countries like China they don't give driving licenses to the commoners who don't have to travel far off, thereby reducing pollution. But here in India we don't have any such law. What I feel is that people here make a lot of misuse of vehicles, adding up to the pollution levels by leaps and gallops! So we should have a law in our country which would first survey the requirements of the end user and then and then only give a driving license. And at the end of each month people would have to give their vehicle usage (In Kilometers, i.e. distance) to the government for which they would be receiving a receipt. If the distance exceeds too much than the driving license mentions than the end user should have some tangible evidence to prove that the usage was legitimate. Otherwise there should be some penalties. Here driving license are given by bribing the officers. Such practices should be punishable. There should be regular intervals (like 1 or 2 years) when an external driving experts visits a place and validates the license thereby checking he skills of the end users and if it is found that the driving license was given by bribing or by unfair means (if the exam is not passed) the person who approved the licensed should be punished.

We should go green! There should be minimum usage of the vehicles and this can be done by the strong enforcement of laws like the one described above!
